Overview

Implements, administers, and supports enterprise on-premises and cloud systems under the Education Microsoft tenant, including messaging, collaboration, and content management platforms. The role also involves creating and maintaining documentation, managing user accounts, and assisting with information security activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Implements, administers, and supports enterprise on-premises and cloud systems.
  • Implements and administers operational tasks of infrastructure networking services.
  • Performs tasks to fulfil Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Identifies and resolves/escalates reported systems, functional and/or operational issues.
  • Resolves system and/or user accounts issues and manages service requests.
  • Monitors, tests, and analyzes system activities.
  • Recommends, schedules, and performs software patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.
  • Provides 2nd level support for related applications and services.
  • Issues periodic performance and utilization reports.
  • Develops tools and templates using platforms such as Microsoft Office 365.
  • Creates and maintains consistent, quality documentation.
  • Manages user accounts for students, teachers, and administrative staff.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and technologies related to ICT4Education activities.
  • Liaises with vendors and other external Agencies.
  • Assists with information security-related activities.
  • Participates in enterprise service delivery support activities.
  • Complies with IMT policies, frameworks and standards.
  • Conducts training for business counterparts and team members as required.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience

A minimum of six years’ progressively responsible and relevant experience with designing, implementation, and administration of Microsoft server technologies, messaging and collaboration systems software, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 technologies, including two years in a supervisory position managing and implementing related IT infrastructure services are required. Experience with digital learning tools and platforms is desirable. Work experience with Microsoft Windows based desktop technology, Microsoft Office software suite, Microsoft 365 solutions and working in an ITIL-driven environment with knowledge of ITIL principles and processes are required.

Qualifications

A university degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, computer science, or other related discipline. MCSA and/or MCSE or related certification and IT Service Management certification such as ITIL foundation. Certification in Microsoft Office 365 Administration, Azure, SharePoint Online, and/or other related Microsoft cloud-based systems and applications.

Remuneration
