Overview

Support the D&A nutrition team in collating data and undertaking data analysis to develop the first global database for school-age children and adolescents. Additionally, identify new data sources, undertake quality assurance and analysis of available microdata for ongoing maintenance of existing Global Nutrition Databases.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collate data and undertake data analysis to develop the first global database for school age children and adolescents aged 5-19 years.
  • Support the team to identify new data sources.
  • Undertake quality assurance and analysis of available microdata for ongoing maintenance of existing Global Nutrition Databases.
  • Integrate the new database on school-age children and adolescent nutrition into the Global Nutrition Databases pipeline.
Required Experience

A minimum 2 years analysing nutrition indicators using household survey data. Experience analysing diet data is an asset. Demonstrated experience analysing data from large-scale household surveys like MICS and DHS. Demonstrated experience with global database management and reporting. Experience with STATA, R or any other statistical software and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree in public health, nutrition, economics, public policy, epidemiology or statistics
