Overview
This internship offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a high-impact learning experience within the World Bank Group's Water Team, focusing on advancing water security solutions in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support technical review of investment and advisory projects, including analysis of sector context, demand forecasts, design documents, and contracts.
- Assist in the review of technical documentation during due diligence and help identify key risks and gaps.
- Support the team in applying impact calculations methodologies and in developing internal monitoring tools and communication procedures.
- Support Paris Agreement alignment and climate finance assessments using MDB methodologies.
- Support the development of methodologies, templates, and guidance materials for project appraisal and sector analysis.
- Coordinate knowledge dissemination work within the Knowledge Bank and toward regional teams.
Required Experience
0–6 years of relevant professional experience
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in, or in the final year of postgraduate (master’s/PhD) program. Academic background in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related applied scientific discipline.
