Overview
Internship opportunity supporting a program focused on environmental and ecosystem management in China, specifically on air pollution control and climate action at the provincial level.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and analyzing publicly available information and data related to air quality and climate change in China.
- Support the cost-effectiveness analysis of major mitigation options by using data analysis techniques, including applying AI and machine learning techniques to obtain and analyze data for identifying key bottlenecks and priority interventions.
- Contribute to the mapping of clean air and climate priorities in selected provinces.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, briefs, and knowledge products based on the analytical work.
- Support the team in organizing workshops and knowledge exchange events.
Qualifications
Candidates must be currently enrolled in, a postgraduate (Master’s/PhD) program in Data Science, Environmental Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Academic background must align with the requirements outlined in the job description.
