Overview
The WBG Pioneer - Macroeconomic Work Intern will gain hands-on experience in standard country macroeconomic work and contribute to Public Finance Reviews for Namibia and Botswana.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of notes and regular macroeconomic reports for Namibia and Botswana.
- Update macroeconomic databases.
- Prepare presentations based on reports.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Review inputs provided by other team members for Public Finance Reviews.
- Support the finalization of Public Finance Review reports.
- Produce inputs for Public Finance Reviews.
Required Experience
0–6 years of relevant professional experience
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in, or in the final year of a postgraduate (master’s/PhD) program. Academic background in Economics or in Development Economics.
