WBG Pioneer - Development Outcomes Measurement Intern

Overview

The WBG Pioneer - Development Outcomes Measurement Intern will support the Department for Outcomes in strengthening how the World Bank Group defines, measures, and delivers development results, focusing on the WBG Scorecard and the FY26 Mid Term Review process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data and methods tasks, including preparing datasets, tracking methodological updates, and improving Scorecard measurement quality.
• Support evidence generation for the MTR by collecting, cleaning, organizing, and synthesizing evidence.
• Draft and prepare strategic materials such as presentations and briefing notes.
• Support stakeholder engagement and consultation processes by organizing and documenting consultations.
• Maintain a structured knowledge base for Scorecard processes.

Required Experience

1–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, a postgraduate (Master's/PhD) program. Academic background must align with the requirements outlined in the job description (e.g., economics, public policy, data science, international development, statistics, or related fields).
