Overview
Provide strategic leadership for an integrated humanitarian, development, and influencing portfolio. Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programmes, driving quality, preparedness, resource mobilisation, partnerships, influencing, and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality, locally led, feminist, and partnership-based programmes.
- Drive programme quality, humanitarian preparedness and response, resource mobilisation, strategic partnerships, evidence-based influencing, and organisational learning.
- Ensure alignment with Oxfam's Global Strategic Framework 2030 and the Bangladesh Country Strategy.
- Represent Oxfam with government, donors, UN agencies, civil society, and other key stakeholders to maximise programme impact and influence across Bangladesh.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience leading complex humanitarian and development programmes at a senior management level.
- Experience developing programme strategies and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in an INGO, UN agency, or similar organisation.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar programme portfolios, including donor engagement, financial oversight, compliance, and risk management.
