Overview

Revise and update anti-corruption education tools, deliver training sessions for UNODC staff, and conduct workshops for educators in Togo.


Key Responsibilities
  • Revise existing lesson plans for primary education and update the training manual for primary education.
  • Revise and harmonize manuals for secondary education and non-formal education.
  • Conduct two virtual training sessions for UNODC staff on pedagogical approaches.
  • Prepare and deliver a 3-day ToT training for educators and a 2-day follow-up training in Togo.
  • Conduct a debrief with national counterparts and prepare a short training report.
Required Experience

At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in primary/secondary/non-formal education in teaching, student support and/or management or related subjects is required. Previous experience in developing educational materials for primary/secondary/non-formal level teaching is required. Experience in primary/secondary/non-formal teaching on one or more topics related to civic education, anti-corruption, integrity, ethics and law is required. Experience in conducting assessments of national education sector is desirable. Previous experience working in the context of West or Central African countries is desirable. Familiarity with UNODC’s anti-corruption education resources and approaches is desirable. Previous experience with the United Nations is desirable.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in pedagogy, education, social science or humanities is required. A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
