Overview
This position supports the Centre for Nature and Climate's initiatives in China, focusing on execution of current deliverables and identifying emerging opportunities. The role connects global narratives with local impacts in areas of Earth System and People Agendas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and support workstream outputs in the form of reports, blogs, videos, and other knowledge products related to food transition, ecosystem and nature positive transition, and general sustainability agenda.
- Support outreach, coordination, and onboarding of thematic relevant stakeholders from public sectors and business partners.
- Facilitate internal alignment across Forum teams and with external collaborators.
- Assist in the design and delivery of co-branded and co-hosted sessions, workshops, single session event, casual gatherings and other joint activities with NDRC and other stakeholders.
- Draft communication materials, including agendas, blogs, and social media content, to enhance the visibility of China's green transition and the Forum's Centre for Nature and Climate initiatives.
- Support the integration of digital tools and innovative approaches in project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Undertake other related tasks that are institutionally importance as assigned by the manager.
Required Experience
A master’s degree with 1–3 years of professional experience is preferred. Recent graduates with deep subject-matter expertise will also be considered. Backgrounds in business consulting, project management, operational excellence, or NGO work are highly valued. Specialized experience in agriculture, food systems, earth sciences, ecology, or carbon/climate initiatives is a distinct advantage.
Qualifications
Preferred fields include Environmental Studies, Science/Engineering, Business Administration, Public Policy, and Social Sciences (or related disciplines).
