Overview

A National Consultant is sought to ensure the effective functioning of the National Trade Facilitation Committee’s Secretariat, providing analytical, coordination, and administrative support for trade procedure simplification and harmonization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Providing analytical support in collecting, analyzing, and systematizing proposals, and preparing a consolidated list of priority issues.
  • Ensuring interagency coordination through organizing and facilitating discussions on trade and logistics procedures.
  • Providing systematic monitoring of the implementation of decisions and actions adopted by the Committee.
  • Coordinating with international partners on operational coordination between the Committee and the Development Coordination Council.
  • Developing methodologies and preparing Terms of Reference (ToRs) for specialized working groups.
  • Providing timely information to Committee members, management, and relevant officials on implementation results.
Required Experience

Minimum 5 (five) years of proven professional experience in the field of economic development.

Qualifications

University degree in Economics, International Trade, Law, Business Administration or related fields.

Languages Required
Professional fluency in Tajik and English.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of Russian would be considered as an asset.

Remuneration
Remuneration will be based on the selected consultant's/expert's qualifications, experience, the tasks and deliverables for this position and in accordance with the OSCE established rates.
