Overview
The Energy Audit Analyst will ensure sub-projects comply with minimum energy performance requirements and provide advisory support on renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on energy efficiency indicators and UPBEE Programme requirements.
- Contribute to the UPBEE Programme communication strategy.
- Advertise the UPBEE Programme at events and meetings.
- Cooperate with final beneficiaries on sub-project preparation and application process.
- Organise meetings with municipal representatives.
- Provide in-depth advisory on improving energy performance and feasibility.
- Review application documents for energy efficiency measures and UPBEE Programme compliance.
- Review building operational characteristics, documentation, and management practices.
- Analyse existing energy performance, verify energy certificates and audit reports.
- Collect and analyse data for total energy consumption and performance indicators.
- Prepare energy audit reports with recommendations and action plans.
- Support municipalities in procuring energy audits.
- Issue energy certificates.
- Perform quality assurance and compliance checks for technical designs.
- Conduct verification site visits.
- Support monitoring of construction works.
- Provide inputs to regular reporting.
- Provide technical advisory support to the Project Manager and team.
- Consult partners and beneficiaries on integrating renewable energy solutions.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years (with Master’s degree) or 4 years (with Bachelor’s degree) of proven experience in conducting energy audit and other related areas.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Energy Management/ Audit, Engineering or related field is required or A first-level university degree (Bachelor`s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with 2 additional years of qualifying experience can be accepted in lieu of Master’s degree.
