Key Responsibilities

UNESCO, with financial support from the European Union, is implementing the project Africa–Europe Partnerships for Culture: Promoting Culture and Heritage-Based Sustainable Tourism in Southern Africa. The project supports the participating sites and communities through the development of innovative interpretation approaches, authentic tourism products and community-based cultural programming. It invests in engaging storytelling, the production of meaningful content and the promotion of narratives that reflects the cultural diversity, living heritage and local experiences of participating communities. UNESCO therefore seeks to recruit a Graphic Design and Visual Communications Consultant to support the implementation of the communications and visibility strategy. The consultant will develop high-quality communication and visibility materials, visual storytelling and knowledge products that effectively document and showcase the participating sites, their cultural heritage, and community-driven initiatives.
