Overview
The WBG Pioneer - Digital & AI Analyst will provide research, analytical, and communications support to the Egypt Digital Program team across ongoing Technical Assistance (TA) activities and the preparation of future operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and prepare analytical notes, policy briefs, and background papers on priority digital and AI topics in Egypt.
- Benchmark Egypt's digital progress against regional and global peers.
- Contribute to the preparation of project documents, technical notes, aide-mémoires, and stakeholder presentations.
- Support the organization and documentation of technical workshops, consultations, and working group meetings.
- Draft and edit communications and knowledge products in both English and/or Arabic.
- Review and quality-assure key program documents.
Required Experience
Prior exposure to international development, public sector, or technology policy through academic research, internships, or work (0–6 years of experience).
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's or PhD program in Economics, Public Policy, Computer Science, Information Systems, Development Studies, or a related field.
