Overview

To provide specialized support and coordinate the delivery of client-focused and value-for-money services pertaining to the Management Services portfolio.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administrative and technical support within the Management Services portfolio.
  • Monitor resource needs and assist in identifying new requirements.
  • Collate and analyse data and prepare reports.
  • Monitor and process actions related to procurement, finance, human resources, and other relevant areas.
  • Review and recommend improvements to procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate resolutions to complex queries.
  • Utilise digital tools and technology applications to improve working practices.
  • Participate in the preparation of inter-agency initiatives.
  • Liaise with other functions and third-party contractors.
  • Provide advice and support to junior staff.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff.
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness and response.
Required Experience

Six or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general management services work. Has demonstrated a sound understanding of WFP Management Services regulations, policies, procedures, processes, standards, and systems. Has experience in collating data and preparing reports pertaining to Management Services portfolio such as management of assets, facilities, fleet, travel, or similar areas. Has experience in coordinating the work of others and providing guidance and training. Has experience working with teams across different functional areas.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
