Overview

Manage and support the procurement of goods, works, and services for the office in Indonesia and Timor Leste, ensuring compliance with IFRC principles and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct procurement processes, including complex procurements above CHF 50,000.
  • Process end-to-end procurement of goods and services, obtaining quotations, preparing comparative bid analysis, and making supplier recommendations.
  • Arrange and maintain timely and cost-effective delivery of goods or services.
  • Conduct vendor site visits and field procurement processes if needed.
  • Provide advice on procurement guidelines, policies, or procedures to Malaysia Red Cross if needed.
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues on procurement-related matters or raising Purchase Requisitions.
  • Ensure compliance with the IFRC Code of Conduct and Fraud and Corruption Prevention and Control Policy.
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Required Experience

4 - 6 years of experience with minimum of 2 years working in the area of expertise. Experience supporting local procurement processes and supplier management. Experience maintaining procurement records and documentation. Experience of working with the Red Cross / Red Crescent is preferred. Experience working with humanitarian organizations, NGOs, development agencies or international organizations is preferred.

Qualifications

University degree in relevant field. Relevant qualification/technical training (or equivalent experience) would be preferred.
