Overview
The Programme Associate provides administrative and programmatic support to UN Women's Women Make Change Project in Papua New Guinea, focusing on increasing women's participation and leadership in governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support for programme formulation and management, including work plans, budgets, and proposals.
- Support financial management of the Programme Unit, including project creation, budget revisions, and financial closure.
- Undertake logistical, administrative, and financial arrangements for meetings, workshops, events, and missions.
- Prepare cost-sharing and other agreements for resource mobilization.
- Facilitate knowledge building and sharing related to programme management and finance.
Required Experience
At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in administration or programme management/support is required. Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages is required. Experience in supporting a team is required. Experience in the use of a modern web-based ERP System, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education is required. Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration is desirable.
