Overview

The Senior Video Editor Consultant will lead on the delivery of high-quality video content for WFP’s global communications, serving as a senior technical resource to ensure consistency in editorial approaches, visual identity, and production quality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on ensuring consistency in visual identity, tone, storytelling approach, and production quality across video outputs.
  • Review video products from HQ and field teams, providing constructive editorial feedback.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide practical recommendations to enhance quality and consistency.
  • Lead on development and updating of video production guidelines, workflows, and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance to video editors and multimedia colleagues.
  • Design and deliver training sessions, and practical guidance materials.
  • Serve as a senior technical reference point for complex or high-visibility video productions.
  • Lead on production of high-quality video content for global campaigns, executive communications, and institutional outputs.
  • Script, structure, and edit audiovisual content for a variety of platforms and audiences.
  • Apply advanced post-production techniques, including sound design, colour grading, and motion graphics.
  • Ensure outputs meet WFP quality standards, timelines, and communication objectives.
  • Supervise the Assistant TV Studio Producer and act as reference point for video editors.
  • Provide technical support to studio productions, including camera operation, lighting, and on-set assistance.
  • Develop and maintain reusable templates and assets (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro templates) in line with branding requirements.
  • Support proper archiving and management of audiovisual assets.
Required Experience

At least 8 years of experience in video production and post-production. Proven experience producing high-quality audiovisual content for international or institutional audiences. Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in film production, multimedia, communications, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
