Overview
To provide specialized support for efficient planning, monitoring, and analysis of project financial performance, and to coordinate activities related to WFP's emergency program and community kitchens.
Key Responsibilities
- Review budget plans, monitor and analyse project financial performance and make recommendations.
- Provide comprehensive analysis on fund and grant balances identifying surpluses and deficits, and suggest corrective measures.
- Support pipeline management ensuring efficient monitoring.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes, enhancement of corporate systems and design of tools.
- Enter project budget plans and revisions in the corporate systems.
- Review, compile and analyse data, maintain accurate records and files and prepare periodic and ad hoc reports.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding project funds management matters.
- Provide guidance to other support staff in budget planning, fund management and operational planning.
- Follow standard emergency preparedness practices.
Required Experience
- At least six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in programme coordination, operational support, or project implementation in humanitarian or development settings, including at least two (2) years of experience in emergency relief assistance programme implementation, coordination, and monitoring.
- Experience in supporting and/or implementing projects related to community or commercial kitchens, food assistance interventions, or food security programmes.
- Experience in partnership engagement and/or project financial monitoring, budget review, and resource planning.
- Experience in data analysis.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. University degree in International Affairs, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Social Sciences or other related field is a plus.
