Provide technical and operational support to UN Women's Cash and Voucher assistance (CVA) in Afghanistan, ensuring quality, technical soundness, and responsiveness to the needs of women and their families. The role aims to strengthen UN Women's internal institutional capacity.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience at the national or international level in the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of cash-based interventions, preferably in humanitarian contexts; Proven experience designing and managing information systems, and technical proficiency using tools, such as KoBo Toolbox, ODK, or other mobile data collection and statistical software; Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, navigate multiple tasks simultaneously, and work effectively both independently and as part of multicultural teams; Desirable: Experience in designing and delivering CVA technical trainings to personnel and partners; Experience liaising with multilateral/bilateral entities, UN agencies, and donors; Experience working within the UN System and/or previous experience in the Afghanistan context.
Master’s degree or equivalent in Gender Studies, International Relations, International Development, or other social science fields is required; A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree; A project/programme management certification would be desirable.
