Overview
The Programme Analyst will support the implementation of sustainable urban development projects in Brazil, focusing on informal settlements and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational support for project activities, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Support communication campaigns, framework development, capacity building, and data collection.
- Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and participatory processes.
- Contribute to data analysis and urban indicator management.
- Support stakeholder engagement and coordination.
- Provide logistical and technical support for meetings and events.
- Support project management, monitoring, and procurement processes.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks and challenges.
- Document and systematize project activities and lessons learned.
- Supervise and manage consultants' activities and review deliverables.
- Participate in meetings, missions, and events as required.
Required Experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in sustainable urban development projects in Brazil is required.
- Experience with informal settlements and community engagement is desirable.
- Experience with project management is desirable.
- Experience with local governments, public administration, or public policies is desirable.
- Experience with international development agendas is desirable.
- Previous experience with the United Nations System is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Law, Administration, Social Sciences or related fields is required, or additional three (3) years of relevant experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
- Postgraduate degree (Lato Sensu or Stricto Sensu) in Architecture and Urbanism, Urban Planning, Geography, Project Management, or related fields is desirable.
