Overview
Review approximately 200 disclosure forms for IOM's 2026 Yearly Declaration of Interests (YDI) exercise, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess potential, actual, or perceived conflicts of interest.
- Identify inconsistencies, missing or incomplete information.
- Conduct follow-up with personnel to clarify information.
- Issue closure messages including assessment of compliance and recommended mitigation measures.
- Prepare concise case notes and actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate with Administrative Assistant for database updates.
- Liaise with Chief of ECO for sensitive matters or guidance.
- Review and refine outreach materials, including webinar content.
- Contribute to outreach activities, including interactive sessions.
- Provide substantive inputs to YDI-related guidance and outreach materials.
- Submit bi-weekly progress summary reports.
- Submit a final end-of-assignment report.
Required Experience
Five years of demonstrated experience in compliance, conflicts of interest, ethics reviews, or due diligence analysis; Experience within UN, IOM, or another international organization would be an asset; Experience in assessing declarations of conflicts of interest; Experience with or knowledge of public international or non-governmental organizations comparable to IOM; Proven experience in drafting reports and internal and external documents; Experience in working in sensitive environments and with confidential information and processes.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in Law, Ethics, Public Administration, Governance, or a related field.
