Overview
This consultancy aims to bridge implementation gaps, support data collection, roll out national standards, and strengthen national capacity for the Gender-Based Violence Information Management System (GBVMIS+) in Ethiopia.
Key Responsibilities
- Finalize production server configurations, roll out the National Coding framework and survivor data anonymity protocols.
- Support routine GBVIMS+ data collection in 96 pilot sites.
- Deliver capacity-building trainings for frontline GBV case management providers in 5 scale-up regions.
- Strengthen MoWSA and its regional focal points to ground the national digital Information Management System for GBV case management.
- Maintain PowerBI/ActivityInfo dashboards, support the Humanitarian Programme Cycle (HPC) and annual SDR reports, and facilitate inter-agency coordination.
- Track DHIS2 and digital tools, enforce data quality/ethical standards, and produce data visualizations for donor updates.
Required Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in the areas of managing GBVIMS+.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social sciences, public health, BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
