Overview
Support the UNICEF Education programme team in communication efforts related to the EU Advancing Quality Education and Lifelong Learning Opportunities for All Programme and ensure visibility of UNICEF Moldova interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the reconceptualization of the teachers’ and school leaders' professional development system and ensure support for the newly created National Institute of Education and Leadership.
- Promote life-long learning opportunities and continuous professional development.
- Increase awareness on the need to ensure inclusivity of education and offer qualitative education services for children with disabilities and special education needs.
- Promote digital pedagogy and STEEAM skills.
- Ensure visibility of modernization efforts (including accessibility) in 10 model schools.
- Coordinate all visibility and communication content with the EU and align with EU communication and visibility guidelines.
- Ensure timely execution and follow-up of communication products and materials.
- Provide effective and timely professional assistance and support in developing, drafting, and maintaining contact information, materials and relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Undertake regular monitoring and evaluation activities according to the work plan.
- Conduct strategic planning and execution of special events.
Required Experience
One-year practical professional work experience in communication, print and broadcast media, or interactive digital media is required. Field work experience and familiarity or background with Emergency situations is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field is required.
