The Programme Analyst will contribute to the effective management and implementation of UN Women’s Women, Peace and Security (WPS) portfolio in Armenia and the South Caucasus by providing substantive technical support.
At least 2 years (with a Master's degree) or 4 years (with a Bachelor's degree) of progressively responsible professional experience in programme management and implementation in the areas of gender equality, women, peace and security, peacebuilding, conflict prevention, humanitarian action, or governance. Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, preferably at the regional or multi-country level. Experience applying Results-Based Management (RBM), results monitoring, and donor reporting frameworks. Experience managing partnerships with government institutions, civil society organizations, women's organizations, UN agencies and development partners. Experience managing grants and partnerships with implementing partners, including proposal review, partner capacity assessments, monitoring, and reporting. Experience contributing to resource mobilization, proposal development, and donor engagement. Experience organizing and facilitating technical consultations, trainings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events. Experience working in conflict-affected, post-conflict, or fragile contexts is highly desirable. Experience within the UN system or another international organization is an asset.
Master's degree or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development, or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A project/programme management certification would be an added advantage.
