Overview

The Programme Associate (Migration Health Nurse) will assist in the implementation and monitoring of health-care activities in line with Programme requirements and strategy.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Programme activities.
  • Undertake regular visits to gather information on beneficiaries’ situations and document needs or concerns.
  • Identify and promptly report any observed protection, security, or health-related concerns.
  • Update data and relevant information for reports; compile and share statistics and RAMS data.
  • Act as a focal point for routine operational workflows related to care activities.
  • Provide administrative support for beneficiaries’ access to health services.
  • Support the NMHO / MHP in preparing documentation for beneficiaries whose medical procedure needs fall outside insurance coverage.
  • Support programme response actions during emergency situations and assist with referral processes for individuals or groups at urgent risk.
  • Assist in carrying out and monitoring the health components of the programme.
  • Support administrative arrangements with IOM panel physicians related to programme requirements.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, health promotion sessions, trainings and other events.
  • Review payments to service providers and assist with simple expense tracking tasks.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
  • High school diploma with five years of relevant professional experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of experience in health services.
  • Good knowledge and experience in health services assisting in the implementation of programme and operational support activities.
  • Experience supporting community outreach, social assistance, or health-related programme activities is an advantage.
  • Prior experience supporting administrative processes related to health insurance or service providers is an advantage.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental, national, or international organizations is preferred.
Qualifications

High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Public Health, Medicine or Nursing from an accredited academic institution.

Languages Required
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish). For this position, Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (Oral and written) is required.
