Overview

The role involves conducting field verification, monitoring programs, and collecting data related to environmental and social safeguarding, textbook distribution, and reading programs. The purpose is to ensure accurate data collection and reporting for project implementation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ESS and safeguarding risk assessments/inspections for targeted schools, training venues, and activity sites.
  • Facilitate safeguarding and ESS orientations and stakeholder consultations.
  • Raise awareness on Child Safeguarding, PSEA, SH, and GBV.
  • Disseminate information on complaint channels and collect community feedback.
  • Document and report field-level incidents, accidents, or safeguarding concerns.
  • Conduct physical field checks to verify textbook receipt and distribution.
  • Formally document verification processes and flag discrepancies.
  • Monitor reading classes and track activity progress.
  • Facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and collect qualitative feedback.
  • Utilize mobile data collection tools (KOBOToolbox) for site inspections and data input.
  • Obtain informed consent for capturing images or stories.
  • Safeguard PII and maintain confidentiality of child data.
  • Report any suspected or actual data breaches.
Required Experience
  • Practical experience using KOBOToolbox or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics and security context.
  • Ability to facilitate travel across remote target sites.
Qualifications

University Degree (Social Sciences, or a related field) or High school graduate.
