Overview

Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects, focusing on the deployment and utilization of Umoja ERP in field offices. Provides support for communication strategies and quality assurance reviews of administrative services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participates in programme/project development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Monitors and analyzes programme/project development and implementation.
  • Liaises with relevant parties and identifies follow-up actions.
  • Provides support for communication strategies and plans for Umoja ERP.
  • Assists in the conduct of quality assurance reviews of administrative services.
  • Assists in providing strategic analysis reflecting programme performance.
  • Researches, analyzes, and presents information gathered from diverse sources.
  • Assists in policy development and survey initiatives.
  • Assists in the preparation of various written outputs.
  • Provides substantive support to meetings and conferences.
  • Assists in outreach activities and conducts training workshops.
  • Participates in missions and coordinates budget and funding activities.
Required Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, communications, administration, business process management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or related area is required. No experience is needed for candidates who have passed the United Nations Young Professionals Programme Examination (YPP) or the G to P Examination (G to P). Experience supporting the implementation, rollout, or utilization of SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, management, or a related field is required. A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in combination with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
