Overview
The Associate Senior Enterprise Architect defines and governs portfolio and product architectures to accelerate solution delivery and drives enterprise-wide adoption of cloud platforms, AI/ML, and modern integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Defines and governs portfolio architectures and product architectures.
- Drives enterprise-wide adoption and optimization of cloud platforms, AI/ML and Agentic AI capabilities.
- Translates organizational strategy, business priorities, and digital transformation goals into enterprise architecture direction and technology roadmaps.
- Evaluates and applies industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Produces high-quality, traceable architecture artifacts.
- Collaborates effectively with business leaders, solution architects, platform engineers, and Agile teams.
- Acts as an enterprise enabler and trusted advisor.
- Balances innovation with risk management, regulatory compliance, security, and operational stability.
- Architects and governs enterprise integration strategies.
- Designs and enforces event-driven architectures (EDA).
- Leads the definition and governance of API-led connectivity patterns.
- Drives cloud integration architecture for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Defines enterprise integration standards for data interoperability and exchange.
- Governs the adoption and architectural alignment of low-code/no-code integration platforms and RPA tools.
- Establishes and enforces integration security and governance standards.
- Leads the development, evolution, and continuous improvement of enterprise architecture frameworks, reference architectures, design patterns, and governance guidelines.
- Oversees the creation and maintenance of comprehensive architecture documentation.
- Establishes and maintains an enterprise architecture artifacts catalog.
- Guides the assessment and rationalization of existing IT infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
- Manages and conducts architectural reviews and Well-Architected Framework assessments.
- Monitors industry trends, emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for innovation.
- Evaluates vendor solutions, platforms, and tools.
- Communicates architectural strategies, trade-offs, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Manages collaboration with business leaders and program teams.
- Oversees partnership with Agile and SAFe teams.
- Engages cross-functional teams.
Required Experience
- 8 years of experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or related discipline; OR 10 years relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and governing cloud reference architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for large-scale, mission-critical environments.
- Proven experience establishing and enforcing enterprise guardrails.
- Proven experience driving enterprise-wide cloud adoption and optimization.
- Proven experience defining and guiding AI and GenAI adoption frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in integration strategies and patterns.
- Strong capability to assess existing IT landscapes, identify architectural gaps, and recommend modernization or optimization opportunities.
- Proven ability to monitor industry trends and emerging technologies and apply them pragmatically.
- Experience leading or participating in architecture reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly.
- Experience partnering with Agile delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or related discipline.
- Enterprise Architecture certification required (TOGAF, EACOE, or equivalent issued by The Open Group).
- Cloud Solutions Architect certification required (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP equivalent).
