Overview
Supports the formulation and implementation of communication and advocacy strategies, aiming to boost demand for service lines and increase business opportunities. Positions the Country Office as a leader in the development arena and increases awareness of UNDP's mandate and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of internal and external communication and outreach strategies.
- Gather information from programmes and projects for communication activities.
- Maintain an information database and photo library.
- Support the implementation of the country office publication strategy and plan.
- Coordinate with projects and programmes to identify leads for publications.
- Provide support to translate, edit and proofread articles and content.
- Supervise publications dissemination.
- Ensure application of corporate guidelines for digital content.
- Assist in updating CO website.
- Design content for website and social media.
- Support country office communication campaign and advocacy initiatives.
- Develop campaign materials.
- Organize events such as roundtable discussions, press conferences, and seminars.
- Track and generate reports on campaign and advocacy implementation.
- Assist the Country office in knowledge management and dissemination.
- Compile knowledge products and ensure they are archived.
- Upload content on Internal database and website.
- Work with suppliers/vendors as necessary.
Required Experience
Minimum 7 years (with secondary education) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant communications, marketing or public relations experience.
Qualifications
Secondary education is required. A university degree (bachelor´s degree) in Communication or, Journalism, Marketing or any relevant field of study will be given due consideration but is not a requirement.
