Overview

The Programme Support Associate will provide administrative and programme support to project components implemented by the IOM mission in Yemen. This role involves supporting project development, data collection for reporting, and informal translation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support project development activities by collecting inputs and assisting in drafting and reviewing project funding submissions/proposals and appeals.
  • Collect data and inputs on programme implementation and indicators to support the preparation of donor reports and other updates.
  • Assist with informal translation of documents and reports from Arabic to English and vice versa as required.
  • Keep accurate and pertinent records of all correspondence, reporting deadlines and other files and administrative information.
  • Draft reporting templates and assist with their use.
  • Follow up with field teams to collect inputs for success stories.
  • Provide administrative support to the unit as required, including updating and processing information and tasks through internal software (PRIMA, WAVE).
  • Perform any other tasks as required.
Required Experience
  • High school diploma with five years of relevant professional experience; or Bachelor’s degree in social science, business administration or other relevant discipline from an accredited academic institution and three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in reporting and contracts drafting.
  • Knowledge of different reporting and contracts templates.
  • Professional experience with UN agencies or other international organizations would be an asset.
Qualifications

High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in social science, business administration or other relevant discipline from an accredited academic institution.

Languages Required
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish). Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
