Overview

Support communications and outreach for environmental analytics and meeting-reporting work, with a focus on urban climate resilience content. The role involves producing visual and digital content, drafting outreach material, and organizing assets.


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce on-brand visual products, including quote cards, slide decks and report layouts.
  • Produce short video clips and social-media content, applying inclusive messaging.
  • Organise and maintain photo and knowledge assets, and quality-assure image descriptions, captions and accessibility outputs.
  • Support outreach analytics monitoring and updates to project webpages and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) related to communications, digital media, graphic or information design, journalism, marketing, or related disciplines; or
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent) related to communications, digital media, graphic or information design, journalism, marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Proficiency with design and productivity tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Canva, or the Adobe suite) is required.
  • An eye for brand consistency, layout and accessibility is essential.

Languages Required
Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the Internship Programme.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another language used in Asia-Pacific is an asset (e.g. Chinese, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Thai).
Contract Duration
4-6 months
Work Modality
A fully remote (home-based) arrangement is possible, subject to approval.
Remuneration
The internship is UNPAID. Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
