Overview
Support the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy (PPH) programme in the Netherlands by assisting with fundraising, communications, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate reporting and administrative activities, including database management and finance/procurement support.
- Support proposal and external report development for donors and prospects.
- Assist with PPH campaigns, including End of Year and World Refugee Day Campaigns.
- Coordinate and organize PPH events.
- Support PPH communication activities, including supplier contact and media traffic.
- Prepare, edit, and produce communication materials for PPH audiences.
- Monitor PPH communications projects.
- Work within UNHCR’s due diligence screening policy and processes.
- Prepare briefings, talking points, and presentations for meetings with donors and prospects.
- Provide ad hoc support as requested.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of previous working experience relevant to the function or minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in the field(s) relevant to the function.
- Proven experience of providing support in cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and techniques, with private sector donors in the Netherlands.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) would be an asset.
- Experience with an international (humanitarian) NGO or UN organization would be an asset.
- Good knowledge of the Dutch fundraising environment, in particular Private Sector Partnerships and Philanthropy.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education (high school diploma) preferably with UNESCO accredited HBO+/University degree (considered as an asset) in Marketing, International Relations, Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
