Overview

Lead a team of partnership managers to build and nurture partnerships with private sector priority sectors, providing funding for Oxfam's work and enabling businesses to operate more ethically and sustainably.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture partnerships with private sector priority sectors.
  • Enable businesses to operate more ethically and sustainably.
  • Work across co-created programme partnerships, sustainability and supply chain initiatives, flexible funding, cause-related marketing and emergency appeals.
  • Drive team and individual performance.
  • Develop and secure six and seven figure partnerships.
  • Build a variety of corporate-NGO partnerships.
  • Develop strong networks across a large and complex organisation.
  • Understand the needs and drivers of others.
  • Shape and influence a variety of approaches and priorities.
  • Inspire prospects, partners, supporters, colleagues and peers.
  • Plan and deliver long-term strategies.
  • Make decisions consistent with strategy and values.
  • Budget and monitor income and expenditure.
Required Experience

  • Experience of driving team and individual performance and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential.
  • Commercial outlook based on experience developing and securing six and seven figure partnerships.
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate sustainability trends and their implications for NGO partnerships.
  • Track record in building a variety of corporate-NGO partnerships (including programme partnerships, brand engagements, corporate philanthropy etc.) to drive income and support wider organisational objectives.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Experience planning and delivering long-term strategies, focused on achieving results.
  • Experience making decisions consistent with strategy and values in the face of complexity and ambiguity.
  • Ability to budget and monitor income and expenditure.
