Overview

The role involves assisting in the preparation and analysis of trade, export potential, and trade policy datasets, including data collection, evaluation, and dissemination to compute relevant indicators.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, evaluate and validate statistical data required to compute export potential and other agreed trade and market intelligence indicators.
  • Update and quality-assure statistical databases underlying the Export Potential Map tool.
  • Compute agreed indicators and submit reproducible datasets, calculation files and a brief methodological note.
  • Prepare publication-ready graphs, tables and analytical materials for reports, presentations or training activities.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and management of statistical database(s).
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of trainings, reports and other duties as assigned.
Required Experience

A minimum of six months of experience in quantitative data analysis, statistical programming or data management required. Previous work experience on trade data analysis is an asset.

Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Economics, with a quantitative focus, or similar (e.g. undergraduate in Economics and postgraduate degrees in data analytics).
