Overview
The role is responsible for leading strategies and monitoring programmatic and financial data management for livelihood and resilience projects. The position contributes to reporting, support, and information processing in line with established goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and supervision of Monitoring Plans, fund programming, FLA implementation, and other roadmap priorities.
- Provide technical guidance to field teams and verify data management, consolidation, and reporting processes, including financial management and project indicators reported by cooperating partners and direct implementation activities.
- Organize, analyze, validate, and consolidate qualitative data collected on project product indicators to prepare reports and bulletins, facilitating decision-making.
- Prepare infographics, reports, dashboards, and periodic reports with reliable and supported data to account for WFP operations in project development.
- Develop and follow up on a training/strengthening plan for project technical team members, implementing entities, and collaborating partners on data collection, management, and timely information delivery, ensuring correct platform utilization and data analysis.
- Monitor and propose processes to improve the mechanisms, timeliness, and quality of information reported by implementing entities and cooperating partners.
- Generate agile, interoperable tools that systematize information, monitor and review project information repositories, validating coherence with the project's Logical Framework of Results.
- Attend and follow up on inquiries and support requests related to the role.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in database management, including data structure creation, organized storage, and data integrity assurance, as well as in conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring and financial follow-up, preferably in social, environmental, or cooperation projects.
- Experience in preparing reports and presentations summarizing complex results clearly and comprehensibly for different stakeholders.
- Experience in environmental management, resilience, and/or climate change adaptation projects.
- Solid IT knowledge, including advanced use of various Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), programming, visualization, architecture, applications, databases, as well as database management and office technological equipment.
- Experience working in multicultural and social environments, and with national organizations and authorities at different levels.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education cycle.
- Desirable: University Degree in Environmental Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Computer Science, or related areas. Other areas of training will be considered if the experience is relevant to the role.
