Support UNFPA Libya in planning and implementing coherent, high-quality, and results-focused Reproductive Health Programmes. The role involves providing technical support, managing partnerships, and contributing to policy dialogue.
A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in public health policy, planning, and management, with a specific focus on Reproductive Health or Maternal and Child Health. Demonstrated experience in providing high-level policy advice and technical assistance to government ministries and other stakeholders. Substantive expertise and proven experience in key areas such as maternal mortality reduction, reproductive health and family planning. In-depth understanding of Libya's health sector. Experience in culturally sensitive programming and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations. Field experience addressing/integrating reproductive health and reproductive rights issues in humanitarian and development programmes is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Reproductive Health in crises is a strong asset. Knowledge and understanding of human rights-based approaches to health, quality of care, and addressing issues such as sexual violence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis and management.
Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Public Health, Medicine, Health Systems Management, or a related health science field.
