Overview
Design, deploy, and maintain integrated data management solutions for WASH and related sectoral interventions at national and sub-national levels. The role will support the development of digital data collection tools, online systems, geospatial analysis, and reporting products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain integrated data management solutions for WASH and related sectoral interventions.
- Support the development of digital data collection tools, online and remote-access systems, geospatial analysis, interactive dashboards, visual reporting products and interoperable data export processes.
- Strengthen data quality, harmonization, secure data handling and practical use of program information for management, reporting, advocacy and donor engagement.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in data management, information management, or M&E, ideally in WASH or other humanitarian/development sectors.
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing GIS mapping and spatial analysis (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Experience setting up and managing online, remote-access, and real-time data management systems, including in low-connectivity environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design systems for exporting and reformatting data into multiple CSV/tabular formats and ensuring interoperability with platforms such as DHIS2 and ActivityInfo.
- Experience delivering training and remote technical support to field-based or non-technical staff.
- Previous experience with UNICEF, other UN agencies, or international NGOs is an asset.
- Experience working in emergency or fragile contexts is an asset.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (master’s level) in project planning, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science and another relevant field.
