Overview
The Senior Investment Officer, Loan Syndication is responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of investments within a designated client coverage and/or product remit, potentially including portfolio and investment monitoring functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams or subteams within designated business lines.
- Lead the origination, structuring, execution, and monitoring of investment projects.
- Lead project due diligence and approval processes.
- Contribute to establishing, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with international, regional, and local counterparties.
- Develop and grow a diversified base of new investors, identify prospective new sources of capital mobilization, and expand relationships with the existing client segment.
- Establish a strong relationship with established B-lenders, parallel lenders, and insurance providers.
- Represent FIF in meetings, and assist in coordination, follow-up, and reporting.
- Participate in internal coordination within the Bank through information exchange and teamwork with relevant divisions.
- Support the department in achieving targets and objectives.
Required Experience
Minimum 10-15 years of relevant professional experience in other multilateral development banks (MDBs) or top-tier global financial institutions. Proven relationship with financial institutions in key geographies covered by AIIB. Substantial working experience in at least one region of AIIB’s global coverage, or strong relationships with at least one group of potential cofinancing partners. Proven track record of origination, structuring, and execution of successful infrastructure transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, and/or related fields is preferred.
