Overview
The Investment Officer, Loan Syndication is responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of investments within designated client coverage and/or product remit, and may include portfolio and investment monitoring functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-lead the origination, structuring, execution, and monitoring of investment projects.
- Co-lead project due diligence and approval processes.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with international, regional, and local counterparties.
- Develop and grow a diversified base of new investors, identify prospective new sources of capital mobilization, and expand relationships with existing client segment.
- Establish a strong relationship with established B-lenders, parallel lenders, and insurance providers.
- Represent FIF in meetings, and support coordination, follow-up, and reporting.
- Participate in the Bank’s internal coordination through information exchange and teamwork.
- Support the department in achieving targets and objectives.
Required Experience
Minimum 6-10 years of relevant professional experience in other multilateral development banks (MDBs) or top-tier global financial institutions. Good working experience in at least one region of AIIB’s global coverage, or good relationships with at least one group of potential cofinancing partners.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, and/or related fields is preferred.
