The Project Management Analyst will provide technical, coordination, and operational support for the development, implementation, and delivery of projects within the Nature, Climate and Energy Portfolio.
Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of professional experience in climate change, environment, project management, or related field. Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.), web-based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages. At least 2 years of experience in providing implementation support to development projects in the areas of nature, climate change, energy, development/climate financing or disaster risk reduction; Experience in delivering and managing environment/climate funding including vertical funds projects, such as those supported by the GEF, GCF, along with proven experience of engaging with those institutions; Experience in partnership and networking establishments with multi-stakeholders, including government people, youth, NGOs, and CSOs and experience working, negotiating, and coordinating with high-ranking and senior officials; Demonstrated experience providing technical support to project implementation in a developing country is essential. Work experience in Cambodia; Prior experience in a UN Agency and/or international organizations.
An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Science, Natural Resource Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or other related Development Studies is required; or A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience, will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
