Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring digital media content to enhance UNDP's visibility and engagement in Sierra Leone.
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate programme’s such as communications, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, or a related field. Demonstrated ability in drafting text and completing stories. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools. Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to communication strategies. Basic knowledge of public relations and media relations principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with development issues and knowledge of UNDP’s work is a plus.
Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements: Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
