Provide technical support for the update and modernization of data processing for a statistical survey, focusing on software development and implementation to align with Eurostat requirements.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience (after Master’s degree) in the maintenance of Python-based software for statistical data processing; Proficiency in Power BI, Power BI Service, Jira, and Confluence, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and PivotTables. Strong data/analysis skills. Knowledge of EU statistical standards and international statistical databases. Understanding of the principles of official statistics and statistical production processes. Experience in supporting national statistical offices and government institutions in the EU accession process will be considered as an asset; Experience with coordination and technical support of meetings and consultations with government authorities. Understanding of data ethics and safeguarding.
Advanced (Masters) degree in in Information Technology, Economic Cybernetics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
