Overview

Provide specialized technical support to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and improve access to finance for women-owned and women-led enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.


Key Responsibilities

Conduct policy and regulatory analysis, facilitate stakeholder consultations, design and deliver capacity-building sessions, map financial instruments, assess barriers to finance, develop innovative financing models, provide company-level advisory support, and prepare a final institutional roadmap.

Required Experience

At least 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in entrepreneurship ecosystem development, SME development, and private-sector development. Demonstrated experience in access to finance, financial inclusion, financial-sector analysis, investment funds, or the design/assessment of financing instruments for SMEs or entrepreneurs, with at least three relevant assignments. Experience in policy and regulatory analysis, strategic planning and preparation of actionable recommendations for public institutions, with at least two relevant policy, strategy or analytical assignments. Experience coordinating or facilitating multi-stakeholder processes involving public institutions, private-sector actors, financial institutions, investors or business support organizations, with at least three relevant processes or assignments. Experience designing and delivering at least two capacity-development programmes or multi-session training assignments during the past five years. Demonstrated experience integrating gender equality or women’s economic empowerment into entrepreneurship, finance, SME-development or private-sector assignments, with at least two relevant assignments. Experience working on programmes financed or implemented by international organizations, international financial institutions or development partners is an asset.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, management, public policy, development studies or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
