Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of UNICEF's global advocacy strategy on the Right to Play agenda. Coordinate advocacy efforts linked to the International Day of Play and oversee the advocacy pillar of a major global initiative.
A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in advocacy, campaigning, or a related field is required, including at least two years of experience at the international level. Experience leading the development and implementation of advocacy strategies with clear theories of change, measurable objectives, and performance indicators is required. A proven track record of achieving or contributing to policy change is required. Proven experience applying a range of advocacy tactics to deliver advocacy objectives is required. Experience building and maintaining advocacy stakeholder networks and working with advocacy coalitions is required. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy issues into compelling campaign narratives and advocacy messages, are required. Demonstrated experience in project design and management, including budget management and monitoring and evaluation, is required.
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in International Relations, Political Science, International Development, Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, Communication or related fields. A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in a relevant area combined with 2 additional years of relevant work experience in advocacy, campaigning or a related field may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
