Overview

Asociado/a de Educación (Gestión de Información) role supporting education projects through information management, coordinating with the UNICEF team and under the supervision of the Education in Emergencies Specialist.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementing partners in agreeing, developing, and implementing quantitative and qualitative reporting mechanisms for field interventions.
  • Develop information matrices, databases, dashboards, reports, charts, and monitoring visuals to facilitate analysis and tracking of education and migration interventions in the field, as well as other education programs.
  • Support UNICEF Mexico's Monitoring and Evaluation area to provide monthly information on field interventions, and when necessary, include information in online monitoring systems or other internal and external mechanisms.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and structure quantitative and qualitative information for the preparation of donor reports.
  • Design graphic and visual products on education program results to support decision-making, accountability, communication, and resource mobilization.
  • Manage and maintain documentation, information products, and technical materials from the Education in Emergencies Task Force sessions, including: - Support session planning with preparation of presentations, attendance lists, or other products for session management. - Administer and maintain emergency response information management tools, including 5W and Kobo databases, ensuring the collection, validation, consolidation, and visualization of information reported by participating organizations. - Analyze and synthesize information on the situation and impact on children during emergencies to generate analytical products for decision-making and humanitarian response. - Update the Task Force's Google site and create web pages for new emergencies if necessary. - Develop information and data visualization products to support the coordination, accountability, and advocacy activities of the Education in Emergencies Task Force.
  • Administer and maintain the area's document structure in SharePoint, ensuring organization, updating, and accessibility of institutional information.
  • Update the Education area's internal dashboard with figures from the National Education System.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional data management, confidentiality, and protection standards established by UNICEF.
Required Experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience working in at least two of the following areas:
  • Information management and databases
  • Development of data visualization products.
  • Experience developing dashboards and indicators.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, information systems, information technology, or related fields that include information management, data management, data analysis, and visualization.
