Development of MHPSS SOP

Overview

Develop MHPSS SOPs and related technical documents for IOM Libya.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a desk review of existing MHPSS tools, resources, and documentation in Libya.
• Consult with IOM staff to identify technical needs, gaps, and priorities.
• Develop a need and gap analysis report.
• Draft, revise, and finalize MHPSS guidelines, technical sheets, guidance notes, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure developed materials align with international MHPSS standards and IOM guides.
• Participate in virtual meetings and provide monthly progress reports.
• Submit all deliverables according to the agreed timeline.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in MHPSS programming. Experience in program development and program management. Experience in development of SoP for MHPSS. Demonstrated experience developing MHPSS activity manuals, group intervention guides, activity facilitation tools, technical guidance documents, and training and resource materials. Strong understanding of community-based MHPSS approaches. Experience working in humanitarian, migration, refugee, or displacement settings is desirable. Experience with remote consultancy assignments is an advantage.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work and Mental Health.
