Overview
The role supports the implementation of standard On-Demand Service Provision processes and activities to enable effective and timely delivery of services to clients within the WFP Palestine Country Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate On-Demand Service Provision (ODS) activities and manage the end-to-end process.
- Manage ODS data systems, trackers, and SOPs, ensuring data quality and integration.
- Provide technical guidance to clients on accessing WFP’s ODS System (UN Booking Hub).
- Monitor stock movements, inventory systems, and improve service data quality.
- Provide operational support to area/field offices and resolve issues.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and revision.
- Maintain accurate records of documents including SLAs, PFIs, FIs, and GRNs.
- Undertake monthly reconciliations of Non-Donor Grants.
- Assess logistics gaps and needs of humanitarian actors.
- Support capacity building of WFP staff and partners.
- Identify and build relationships with logistics colleagues.
Required Experience
- Minimum three (03) years of postgraduate professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or a relevant field.
- Experience in analysing operational contexts and trends.
- Experience in budget monitoring, reporting and project management.
- Experience in logistics, such as freight-forwarding, warehouse management, inventory management, goods handling, contracting.
- Experience working with clients, managing queries and complaints and building rapport.
Qualifications
Advanced University degree in Transport Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management or other related field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.
