Overview

Oversee programme coordination, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, quality, and accountability under the general coordinator's supervision. Provide technical support, contribute to strategic development, and propose new opportunities.


Tasks Summary
  • Track humanitarian situation and support needs assessments
  • Contribute to strategy and program objective design
  • Propose new assessments and program developments
  • Guarantee program implementation aligns with mandate
  • Assist field teams in planning, monitoring, and coordination
  • Monitor budget compliance and address financial risks
  • Maintain communication between teams and with HQ
  • Conduct field visits for support and mentoring
  • Support identification and development of partnerships
  • Ensure clear objectives and task delegation for staff
  • Foster effective communication within the team
  • Lead recruitment processes and assess training needs
  • Ensure timely data collection and analysis
  • Oversee MEAL systems
  • Support project teams with MEAL processes
  • Ensure programs align with national strategies and frameworks
  • Ensure regular high-quality reporting
  • Contribute to external evaluations and donor proposals
  • Supervise program development and proposal writing
  • Provide input to teams and conduct quarterly reviews
  • Implement corrective actions when needed
  • Represent MdM at national level
  • Participate in relevant coordination meetings
  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with partners
  • Lead negotiations and finalization of partnership agreements
  • Foster collaboration among partners
  • Support internal coordination meetings and follow-up mechanisms

Experience Requirements

Experience in programme coordination, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, quality, and accountability. Experience in strategic development and proposing new opportunities. Experience in team management, including recruitment, appraisals, and capacity building. Experience in data collection and analysis, and MEAL systems. Experience in reporting to donors, partners, and HQ. Experience in external evaluations and donor proposals. Experience in representing an organization and participating in coordination meetings. Experience in building and maintaining relationships with partners, including government agencies. Experience in leading negotiations and finalizing partnership agreements. Experience in fostering collaboration among partners. Experience in supporting internal coordination meetings and follow-up mechanisms.
