Overview

The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Myanmar Partner Advisor will complete planning, monitoring, and evaluation tasks for MCC partner organizations in Myanmar. The role involves building relationships with partners, developing plans, conducting monitoring, and organizing evaluations.


Tasks Summary
  • Listen to partners and develop strong relationships
  • Write realistic plans based upon partner capacity and vision
  • Select tools and conduct monitoring tasks
  • Organize project evaluations
  • Conduct ongoing training for local partner staff
  • Ensure internal MCC documentation is complete in programming software
  • Participate in the security team for the Myanmar program

Experience Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working with international NGOs
  • Specific skills and training related to Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
  • 3+ months of experience living internationally
  • Multicultural competence

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, Public Health, Conflict Transformation, Social Sciences, or related field

Other Details

Languages Required: • Excellent spoken and written English language ability

Work Modality: The Partner Advisor will live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and travel to Myanmar frequently for prolonged periods in order to provide direct accompaniment of partners.
