Overview
Drives vehicles safely for the transport of authorised personnel and general cargo goods. Assists with data collection, presentation, and updating information material.
Tasks Summary
- Drives vehicles for personnel and cargo transport
- Makes deliveries of parcels, documents, etc.
- Makes minor purchases and collects urgent purchases
- Collects goods from customs
- Meets official personnel at the airport and facilitates immigration/customs
- Takes care of day-to-day vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
- Reports damage or loss of vehicle tools
- Logs fuel consumption and maintenance
- Ensures steps are taken in case of accident
- Assists with data collection, analysis, and presentation
- Assists with visualizations and updating information material
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of continuous driving experience with a safe driving record
- Experience in driving a variety of makes and models of vehicles
- Several years of demonstrable professional driving experience, with a proven and verifiable record of safe and dependable vehicle operation, is desirable
- Work Experience with the United Nations or similar International Organization is desirable
- Experience working with senior diplomatic officials is desirable
- One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid National Driver License is required
- Defensive driving certification is desirable
- First aid training is desirable
